my brother has to go for operation. so far there isn't so much trouble brooming about him.
in sunday school, there hasn't been any cases of bullying or annoying other kids.
since there's no school, no teachers writing letters back to complain.
so my brother is having a peaceful time right now.
the major drama is that he may have to go for operation.
i guess it's cos my mom gave birth to him at a rather mature age, so he's quite weak. he has an acute case of sinus. in addition, he inherited my dad's genes. my dad has sinus too. all of us kids have sensitive nose. i had very little soft toys. and if i did have any, they were usually gifts and i wasn't allowed to hug them to sleep.
so anyway my brother's case of sinus is very bad. it's why he has a constant flow of mucus from his nose when he was younger. (did i mention his classmates call him fish lips.cos his nose is usually blocked, he breathes through his mouth and hence looks a bit like a fish) so to cure it, my brother has to go for an operation to clean up his nose and do something funny to it. my dad did it when he was younger. the operation cost my dad his sense of smell. yeah my dad can't smell anything. haha it's not that bad compared to losing your sense of sight. just that he can't tell when food is bad or whether he stinks.
currently my brother is undergoing this treatment, to see if he can avoid operation. every night he has to do this nose wash. he said it's painless. he squeezes some solvent through one of his nostril and it flows out of his nose and mouth.
so everyday he has to do three things.
the first one is called high five. he's been doing this since he was a baby. i think my mom called it "high five" to make it seem like a game to him. "high five" is the asthma inhaler for kids. he has to use one orange inhaler and one purple inhaler. i'm not sure what each one is for.
next is his various medicines. there are some days when he doesn't need to take any. then there are some days he has to take antibiotics and many others cos he's sick or his nose is acting up.
last, he has to do his nose wash every night.
i'm just very thankful that he doesn't have diabetics or anything worse. i don't think i pity him. i just feel quite sad he has to go through all this. i wanted him to play basketball or some sports and be healthy and tan haha. oh well. i still love him to bits. i think it's his eyes. (he has the prettiest eyes in the family)
i call it puppy eyes. when i scold him, and he gives me the shocked and ashamed look, i can't help feeling bad for being so fierce haha. wonder he he's smart enough to know how to use it to his advantage yet.
lalalala
love my brother and sisters. feeling in a good mood today. even though some people are being irritating. some people are so lazy and come up with all sort of excuses. in the beginning they sound so enthusiastic and committed but once the going gets tough they make all sorts of the excuses and things don't get done. gets on my nerves. it's not like i'm a perfectionist or anything. i'm a slacker... and i still feel irritated with their behavior. i'm debating with myself if i'm being to arrogant. maybe i should be more understanding? since they're younger and less experienced. all the same it's irritating. hai
anyway forget about those guys. my brother's birthday is coming!!! haha six more days =D
wheeeee.
i haven't gotten him a present.
my dad just bought him this remote control car. knowing him, he'll get bored with it after a week. haha
